Backend / Fullstack Software Engineer (Java)

Take part in the creation of a pioneering tool that brings digitization to a market where manual processes are still the common scenario.

While being a Frontend developer in vc-Trade you'll advocate for shaping the platform design , while also keeping a focus in the performance and smooth navigation.

• Contribute as Backend / Fullstack software engineer in one of our scrum teams
• Contribute in Technical solution design discussions
• Write and deliver high quality code
• Guarantee code quality with unit and integration tests
• Discuss and propose enhancements to our system design architecture with our senior architects

• At least 2 years of experience in backend development
• Good knowledge of: Java , Spring , Spring Boot
• Basic knowledge of: Maven, Kotlin
• Frontend knowledge is a plus (Vue.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS)
• Practical and recent experience with Java

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
• Previous experience with Agile working methods
• Team player, taking initiative, high quality standards

Widely multicultural team, with 40 employees with around 14 different nationalities, working in different offices, with English as the working language.

Currently we have 3 cross functional teams, consolidated with members with defined roles and responsibilities.

All teams work with a scrum methodology.
