Delvo builds the next generation of procurement intelligence agents, helping enterprise procurement teams make faster, smarter decisions with real-time supplier insights, price benchmarking, and negotiation strategy. Our vision is to become the decision infrastructure for strategic procurement — an agentic layer that continuously improves with every negotiation and data point. As a Founding Engineer, you’ll work closely with the CTO to build agent orchestration, evaluation loops, and data pipelines, and ship a product that integrates directly into client ERP workflows. You’ll own key architectural decisions across the full stack (Next.js/TypeScript + Python) with high autonomy, meaningful equity, and visible impact from day one.
Aufgaben
As a core member of the founding engineering team, working closely with the CTO, you will:
- Design and build agent orchestration systems - coordinating multiple AI/LLM agents, managing dependencies, ensuring robustness with incomplete or noisy data
- Collaborate directly with clients - rapid iteration and adjustment based on live feedback from the people using our product
- Explore cutting-edge AI/LLM techniques - context engineering, retrieval augmentation, embeddings, fine-tuning, reasoning chains
- Own architectural decisions - stack, infrastructure, deployment, scalability, performance, security, and compliance
- Build evaluation loops for autonomous behavior - monitoring, measuring, and improving quality, safety, and performance of AI agents
- Implement real-time supplier data pipelines - ingesting and normalizing financial, market, risk, and performance data to enable fast, actionable insights
- Integrate with client ERP systems - ensuring smooth, reliable connections to core enterprise workflows so our product delivers impact where decisions actually happen
Anforderungen
- Strong full-stack foundation: front-end + back-end. You know how to make great UX / clean UI and solid server side / data logic
- Proficiency in TypeScript (including frameworks like Next.js) and in Python (preferably FastAPI or similar). You know what trade-offs look like across the stack
- Experience with UI state/data fetching tools: Tanstack Query, Tailwind CSS, and deployment/hosting workflows and monitoring (Vercel, Fly.io)
- Hands-on experience building AI applications: you’ve worked with LLMs, embeddings, retrieval; you understand inference, latency, cost trade-offs
- Experience building or orchestrating agents or autonomous components: agent frameworks, evaluation and monitoring of agent behavior, quality metrics, safety
- Bonus (would be a strong plus): experience with procurement or ERP systems; supplier/market data, or negotiation intelligence
