Founding Engineer (m/w/d)

Your tasks

• Build & maintain key features of our product from brainstorming to implementation.
• Iterate on customer feedback to constantly improve our products quality and user experience.
• Help to make our systems easy to scale & maintain.
• Improving the speed and quality of our codebase and engineering processes to ensure we consistently deliver an amazing product experience.
• Collaborating across disciplines to fill gaps and ship fast.
• Stay up-to-date on new libraries, software and services

Tech stack

• We are using 100% typescript. We really believe in the awesome developer experience you get from end to end type-safety and the ability to use the same language in every component of our software stack.
• Nextjs is the framework of our choice to build easy to scale backend functionality together with a nice user experience.
• We use "trpc" to make communication between frontend and backend typesafe and easy to use.
• We use several 3rd party services that help us to focus on our key product features. To name a few: Vercel (Hosting), Upstash (redis & queues), Clerk (Auth)

• Strong programming skills with the ability to work across the full stack

• Jakob and Me (Matyas) founded Steuerboard in the mid of 2023 as a small project, wich became our fulltime job and now, needs new, motivated members on board. We will expand the company to 4 people to help us grow even faster in 2025. You will directly co-work with me on the tech-side of things.
