You will join a motivated, supportive global team where collaboration truly matters and work closely with our Management Board and international R&D teams.

You report directly to the Managing Director and have disciplinary responsibility for one direct report, a Business Development Manager. In addition, you provide lateral leadership to our laboratory colleagues in India on a project basis in a remote environment.

This involves around 15 team members who regularly turn to you for guidance, including on formulation-related topics. Many of them hold PhDs in (Organic) Chemistry themselves.

Transparency and speed are particularly important to us in the recruitment process. That is why we have intentionally designed our selection process to be streamlined, allowing both sides to quickly determine whether there is a good mutual fit.

1. Initial Digital Interview with HR

The first step is always a virtual conversation with our HR team via Microsoft Teams. The purpose of this meeting is to get to know each other, align expectations, and gain an initial impression of one another. Following the interview, both sides take a brief moment to reflect on the discussion before moving forward.

2. In-Person Interview with the Hiring Department

If both sides have a positive impression after the initial conversation, the next step is a face-to-face meeting with the hiring department at our offices in Ratingen, Germany. During this discussion, you will gain deeper insight into the role, the team, and the technical requirements of the position. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and determine whether the position aligns with your expectations and career goals.

We place great value on a fast and transparent process, and this is reflected in our approach to recruiting. If there is a mutual fit, we move forward without unnecessary delays, prepare an employment contract, and discuss all relevant terms and conditions.
