Senior Backend Engineer fulltime remote EU

We are looking for an experienced software developer (m/f/d) with at least 7 years of experience, including 5 years in Python. Ideally, you have knowledge of Django, SQL, and JavaScript, as well as experience with Git, testing, Docker, and AWS.

• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Build efficient, high-quality back-end features using Python
• Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
• Integrate front-end components into the application
• Participate in client meetings and collaborate with stakeholders
• Create and review development estimates
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
• Follow agile development principles and methodologies

• Minimum of 7 years of software development experience.
• At least 5 years of proficiency in Python (essential)
• Experience with Django is a plus
• Deep understanding of database structure (SQL skills advantageous)
• Experience with JavaScript (vanilla and/or frameworks)
• Experience with Git, unit, and integration testing 
• Basic CI/CD (Docker) and Cloud knowledge (AWS Server)
• Proven track record as an engineer, emphasizing engineering skills over mere coding
• Knowledge of software life cycle processes
• Familiarity with code management practices
• Excellent communication skills in english
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting attitude
• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail

Our development team consists of 11 talented professionals led by our CTO. Together, they bring a broad range of skills and expertise to develop and implement innovative solutions. The team includes QA testers who ensure the quality of our products, UI designers who create intuitive and engaging user interfaces, and full-stack developers who excel in both frontend and backend development. Additionally, a project coordinator ensures projects run smoothly and efficiently, while a Product Development Manager drives strategic product development. Together, they form a strong, interdisciplinary team focused on achieving our technical goals and successfully implementing our product visions.

The application process consists of three steps.

First, there will be a preliminary Teams meeting with the recruiter to discuss expectations and requirements.

Following that, there will be two technical interviews with the relevant department and the team.
