Full Stack Developer Laravel / Symfony
ESONO AG
- Freiburg im Breisgau, Berlin, Lörrach
We are looking for clever minds who not only implement, but also contribute ideas and actively support colleagues and customers in finding solutions and planning them.
The area of responsibility is wide-ranging and, depending on your skillset and wishes. You will work on a wide variety of systems that meet a wide range of requirements.
There is no mindless, repetitive work where you do the same thing every day.
Tasks
- We are looking for an experienced developer who has experience with Symfony and/or Laravel.
- We have our own products as well as customer projects where you can support us with your know-how. The specific areas of responsibility are therefore always new and varied.
- Due to the size of our team, your area of responsibility will also be determined by you so that you can make the best use of your strengths.
- A small excerpt from our tech stack: Languages, frameworks, DBs: Symfony, Laravel, PHP, Go, TypeScript, MariaDB, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Flutter, React
DevOps: Kubernetes, GitLab incl. CI/CD, hosting from on-premise, classic data center to cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Requirements
- Several years of experience in PHP/Symfony/Laravel, as well as related technologies such as Git, MySQL, IDEs like PhpStorm or VSCode
- If you have little experience in PHP, but feel at home in Go, Python, TypeScript, Java or similar and generally enjoy learning new languages, then get in touch anyway!
- Knowledge of Linux is helpful
- Also knowledge in the areas of containers and Kubernetes, but not necessary. We'll teach you what's missing :-)
Team
- We are all IT people: a team of just under 20 techies. There are no non-specialist managers, product owners or sales staff.
- “We hire team AND skill": We want colleagues who fit together both personally and in terms of skill level and who feel comfortable with each other - because we want to work together productively, learn, solve problems and celebrate successes not just for a short time, but preferably for years.
Application Process
The application process only takes a few days and is clearly structured:
- First, we meet in person (for those who live in Freiburg and the surrounding area). This is an initial informal meeting and not a job interview. We want to get a feel for whether you are a good fit for us and vice versa.
- If the personal fit is right and we can both imagine working together, we would like to go through a few tasks with you. Above all, we want to give you the opportunity to show us how you work and approach a problem. All tools including Google and ChatGPT are allowed - just like in real working life :-)
- If everything fits -> employment contract.
