AI-Driven Head of Performance Marketing (m/w/d)

We are looking for an AI Driven Head of Performance Marketing who builds marketing systems that think. At Bits & Pretzels you will lead the transformation of our marketing setup into an AI powered growth engine that combines creative storytelling, automation and data to redefine how we scale Europe’s leading founders festival.

As our AI Driven Head of Performance Marketing you will build the next generation of intelligent, automated marketing at Bits & Pretzels. Your mission is to connect creativity, data and AI to create campaigns and workflows that learn, adapt and perform better every single day.

This role is not about managing agencies or maintaining existing setups. It is about engineering growth through automation, experimentation and new technology. You will work directly with the CMO and management team to design a future proof marketing system that inspires founders across Europe.

Your impact:

• Build and evolve an AI driven performance setup across SEM, paid social, email and CRM.
• Implement predictive analytics, generative content and smart automation flows.
• Use AI tools such as GPT, Claude, Midjourney, Perplexity and others to ideate, test and scale faster.
• Define and track performance KPIs while optimizing budgets with data and intuition.
• Lead a small team and external experts to push creative and analytical boundaries.
• Collaborate with Product, Tech and Content to integrate AI across every customer touchpoint.

• At least four years of experience in Performance or Growth Marketing in SaaS, events or tech environments.
• Proven hands on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Perplexity, Notion AI, Runway or ElevenLabs.
• Familiarity with automation platforms such as Zapier, Make or basic Python and API logic.
• Deep understanding of conversion funnels, tracking, CRO and data attribution.
• Strategic mindset with a builder mentality who automates what others outsource.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Curiosity and passion for testing, learning and rethinking how marketing can become smarter.
