In this position, you will lead and shape the future of our Lary OpsHub team. The Lary OpsHub empowers our product teams with a rock-solid, secure production infrastructure so they can focus 100% on user-oriented features as well as offering DevOps consulting services to our clients.

We’re looking for a highly experienced DevOps professional who not only brings technical excellence and best practices to the table, but also has the ambition and mindset to take over leadership responsibilities — both operationally and strategically.

Tasks

This role is a hybrid between hands-on DevOps engineering and technical leadership, with a strong development path toward full team leadership responsibilities:

Technical

  • Define and execute infrastructure implementation on Azure and AWS for secure, scalable delivery.
  • Optimize cloud architectures to ensure performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Build and maintain shared tools (Terraform / CDK components, CI/CD templates, API integrations).
  • Strengthen cybersecurity and Compliance.

Operational & Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the OpsHub team, fostering a collaborative DevOps culture.
  • Drive KPI reporting, SLA improvement, and robust incident response processes.
  • Manage OpsHub roadmap, priorities, and delivery across services.
  • Enhance DevOps processes (CI/CD automation, system hardening, compliance).
  • Oversee cost management to optimize infrastructure spend.
  • Share best practices and act as an infrastructure partner to other teams.
  • Maintain broad system knowledge to guide priorities and represent OpsHub strategically.

Our DevOps Principles

The Lary OpsHub team works based on the following core beliefs:

  • Seamless Operations: Production infrastructure should be invisible — rock-solid, secure, and self-service for developers.
  • Embrace Change: We don’t fear change — we engineer for it.
  • Proactive Solutions: We don’t wait for problems to escalate. We solve them early and continuously.
  • Risk Mastery: We assess, manage, and communicate risks with confidence.
  • Collaboration First: OpsHub is a cross-cutting enabler for all product teams.
  • Tech Forward: We adopt cutting-edge DevOps & AI tools early.
  • Pursuit of Excellence: “It works” is not enough — we master the tools we use.

Why This Might Be for You

You’re a builder who:

  • Wants to stay close to tech and grow as a leader.
  • Values ownership, speed, and quality.
  • Enjoys empowering teams through great infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or DevOps Engineer with a strong background in building and operating cloud-native systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in a senior DevOps role, ideally in fast-paced environments (startups, agencies, or scale-ups).
  • Experience with Azure or AWS, Infrastructure-as-Code, containerization, serverless infrastructure, CI/CD, compliance and observability.
  • 1+ years of experience in technical leadership: mentoring team members, leading projects, or owning a critical system.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with a bias for clarity, automation, and high impact.
  • Bonus: experience with Jira Service Management, ITIL processes, or team operational planning.
