koppla is building the next-gen collaborative scheduling platform for construction, helping project managers keep projects on time by identifying delays and disruptions before they impact timelines.
We are looking for a product-minded Frontend Engineer in Berlin that loves building high-quality frontends. If you believe in ownership, would like to be involved from conception to implementation and enjoy building truely fun experiences - this one is for you.
Compensation: €65-85k + 25% of your first year's salary as equity on top
Location: Berlin (Hybrid, 2+ days/week in office)
Tasks
- Work closely with backend engineers, product managers and designers to concept new features in a truly cross-functional process.
- Take ownership of the frontend development process for new features (technical planning, release management, QA, stakeholder communication).
- Build user-facing features from backend integration (GraphQL, Rest, WebSocket) to beautiful and scalable UI components.
- Improve performance by profiling and tweaking our schedule.
- Redefine best-in-class software development processes so that we can build an opinionated product.
Stack: Vue.js, TypeScript, Vite, GraphQL (Apollo), WebSockets, Playwright. You should be familiar with some of these or similar technologies.
Requirements
This role is perfect for an experienced engineer looking to join a company that is approaching product-market fit with clear signs of it being already visible (approaching €2M ARR). You are likely a great fit, if:
- You have a solid engineering foundation, write efficient code, and possess a clear understanding of your strengths and areas for growth. You make pragmatic decisions when balancing user experience with code quality.
- You have a passion and a good eye for intuitive UI/UX. You care deeply about the user experience and want to deliver an exceptional product.
- You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoy taking ownership of your work, stay proactive, and think in a solution-oriented way.
- You have experience working on a B2B SaaS product.
- You enjoy collaborating hands-on in a cross-functional team and stand out through strong and clear communication.
