Tasks
- Leading contract negotiations with software vendors
- Conducting market analyses to secure optimal purchasing conditions and identify potential savings
- Managing and maintaining purchased and registered software licenses, including ensuring license compliance
- Reviewing and validating commercial data to maintain an overview of costs and budgets
- Managing contracts, including monitoring contract durations and adapting them to current needs and requirements
- Applying IT Asset Management (ITAM) strategies to manage and optimize IT resources, especially in the areas of procurement and license management
Requirements
- Completed degree in economics, business administration, computer science or a corresponding education with several years of professional experience in procurement
- Ideally a job-relevant additional qualification, such as negotiation training, BME course in procurement, etc.
- Strong system and process understanding as well as practical experience with ERP and e-procurement systems
- Extensive experience in IT asset management and basic data knowledge
- Ability to cooperate, sociability, and conscientiousness
- Proficient use of MS Office applications
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken

You will work for us in the Group Procurement department in the Global Category Management IT & Services team.
